Mary served over 500,000 meals in 30 years at The Multnomah Hotel. She could remember the names of returning guests. Nobody forgot her either, she loved the hospitality business. This can’t be taught.

Mary was a long time member of the Portland Advent Christian Church in Portland, Oregon and a very good friend of my parents and Grandmother. My memories of Mary are her teaching Sunday School and always having a snack for us after class and Scrabble Games Sunday afternoon.
